About Fridolin
When we walked up the terrace it was love at first sight – the view swept us off our feet.
This house has become our second home – lot of pieces tell stories about our heritage, travels, our discoveries. We do hope our guests enjoy the aura of this space as much as we do and are enriched with a carefree vacation, where time does not stand still, but does seem to flow slower.
The intimate garden in the back is more ‘English Style,’ where lush greenery and a garden swing make you feel ‘you can dip your hand in the lake.’
Apartments
Two fully equipped apartments (each appr. 65 m2) await our guests: one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both apartments have access to the private garden, and free parking is available for our guests.
Ground floor apartment: 2 bedrooms – one with a large double bed (160×200 cm), and another with 2 separate beds (90×200 cm), a bathroom with bathtub and toilet, a kitchen, a dining room or lounge with a comfy sofa, and a terrace in the front.

- Peaches everywhere
We noticed two little trees on the first spring after buying our house by the bridge connecting the garden to the house. They probably grew from seed, but instead of cutting them we let them grow – and this year they have rewarded us with delicious fruit
- Spring has arrived at Fridolin
Our swallows have arrived also!
The blue one flew as far as from Portugal, the white one joined him in Fonyód.
They live at the entrance of our ground floor apartment, Frida.
- New mattresses
When replacing our mattresses we chose the high quality products of a Hungarian company, Wilu Möbel-Line Kft., Their pocket spring mattresses with memory foam layer are super-comfy + supporting local businesses is important for us.
