By car: Take highway M7 (Budapest-Letenye) and exit at junction 150 Lengyeltóti / Fonyód. This is the fastest option, though there is a highway usage fee. If you want to avoid fees, take Route 7, which is slower but more scenic.

By boat: You may travel from Badacsony (north coast of Balaton) with a catamaran – service operated by Bahart.
By bike: There is a cycle route around Balaton lake and route that connects Budapest with Balaton (BuBa), so Fonyód is accessible via cycle routes too.
